imawizardHarry had planned on staying for the summer, even if he was doing his best right at this moment to never venture out into public again, for reasons. He'd even been planning on being lazy tonight. At the very least, he expected there to be another month or so till a crisis happened.
And then the owl came from Dumbledore, with explicit instructions on where and when to meet him, and not much else in terms of an explanation. It didn't even occur to Harry that he could say no. He just grabbed a couple things he might need, along with his broom, and got ready to go. He was nervous about whatever was happening, but it wasn't like that ever stopped him.
